Split into three chapters, in three different decades, 'The Forest' tells an unorthodox love story about Roxanne, a mentally ill teenager who takes in homeless teenager, Maverick. We travel years with them as we see their relationship traverse from platonic, friendly, and finally romantic. All the while, they must overcome obstacles from physical illness, to secret lifestyles.
